Fair Tax Assessment, Inc. was established by a group of professionals from the real estate, corporate, non profit, legal, and web development communities in response to the present economic environment’s impact on homeowners, charitable & non profit organizations, and real estate professionals.
The company’s goal is through a pooling of talents & needs to help each of these groups weather their personal economic storm and potentially emerge at the other end of the present economic cycle in a better place than if they hadn’t participated in the synergistic union.

The first group in Fair Tax Assessment, Inc.’s triangle of partners is homeowners. This group of Americans has experienced dropping home values and the resulting erosion of equity set aside for retirement, children’s education, and as a potential raining day source of funds for illness, unemployment, etc. Not to mention, an inability to sell their homes for amounts that cover their mortgage debt and/or close to their purchase price. Unfortunately, Fair Tax Assessment, Inc. cannot offer solutions to dropping home values or the present real estate market. We wish we could. However, Fair Tax Assessment, Inc. can help this group potentially reduce their property taxes and conserve their savings by offering local knowledge regarding property values to homeowners and a tool to assist in the appeal of a property tax assessment that is out of line with the real estate market. The state & county governments do not have an incentive to reduce the amount of taxes they charge homeowners. They need that money to provide important services. We acknowledge that fact. We also believe that every homeowner should pay taxes based on the value of their house today, not based on a value they could not sell their house for in today’s real estate market.

The second group in Fair Tax Assessment Inc.’s triangle of partners is charitable & non profit organizations. This group of organizations fundamentally contributes to the quality of life we experience in America. America would not be America without them. Their contributions are witnessed in medical progress, community services ranging from food banks to youth athletics, and at our parks & playgrounds. Their contributions are also felt around the world and are the reason America and its non profit organizations are welcomed into almost every community around the globe with open arms. Unfortunately, present economic conditions are hitting our charitable & non profit organizations very hard with a decrease in donations being seen across the board. Fair Tax Assessment, Inc. identified this current and future shortfall of necessary funds and decided to contribute what it could and hopefully lead the business community by example. Our solution was that we would support these organizations philanthropically by providing their supporters with an opportunity to allocate 10% of every order for a Tax Assessment Analysis placed to a charity of our customer’s selection by their entering an appropriate coupon code. The final group in Fair Tax Assessment’s triangle of partners is the real estate professionals who help us find and sell the houses and condominiums where our children go to school and prosper; we celebrate holidays and special events with family and friends; and find security and comfort at the end of the day.
Everyone has read the headlines about rising unemployment rates. Did you realize that those numbers typically do not include real estate professionals since they are paid commission rather than a salary? It is estimated that the actual unemployment rate in America is over 10% if real estate professionals, owners of family businesses like neighborhood restaurants & stores, and other people who work for themselves were included in the figure. Fair Tax Assessment, Inc. was created as a vehicle for the real estate agents we consider the “Best of the Best” in the residential real estate market, those with the CRS designation, to use their local market knowledge and experience to help make ends meet financially in a depressed real estate market, while at the same time stepping forward to assist homeowners in the communities and neighborhoods they care about appeal their property tax assessment and potentially reduce their property tax burden.
The purchase & sale of a house is typically one of the biggest financial decisions an individual will make in their life. Homeowners need quality real estate professionals for that process. It is Fair Tax Assessment’s hope that through secondary income generation programs for REALTORS like ours that we can help preserve the knowledge base & transactional experience currently available to homeowners when buying or selling a home.
